Hi, and welcome to my website. I’m George Cumming-Bruce, a counsellor working in London (Battersea and Pimlico), and online. Finding a therapist can be a daunting process, so please have look around to get to know me a little. Do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to make a booking.
I trained at the NSPC, and although my main training is existential-phenomenological (see “What is Existential Therapy?” tab), I have also trained and worked in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a modern form of CBT.
I have worked in the NHS, seeing clients for short term therapy for wide ranging issues, as well as a specialist focus on chronic pain at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Alongside this I see clients for longer term therapy at MIND.
Before becoming a therapist I gained honours degrees in Philosophy at Edinburgh University, and then Psychology at the University of Westminster.
I am a registered member of the BACP.
